Teacup

Stunningly illustrated by Matt Ottley, Teacup is a hauntingly beautiful picture book about displacement and belonging. A book that is sure to remain with you, long after reading. It is perhaps more poignant for the adult reader, but it is definitely a platform from where many discussions can lead with younger children.

As the boy leaves his home, on a journey by sea, searching for a new land, a new beginning, we are taken on a tale of searching and longing. A truly memorable read.
