Vintage Australian picture books

Everything old is new again. With a popular resurgence in everything vintage or retro, it seems that even favourite literature is enjoying finding a whole new audience.

Snugglepot and Cuddlepie are the delightfully timeless creations of May Gibbs, one of Australia's first well-known author and illustrator for children's books. Following her death in 1969, the copyright of her characters was bequeathed to various charities.

These two new publications have been brought to you the Cerebral Palsy Alliance and the Northcott Society.

Snugglepot and Cuddlepie Sleepover

Snugglepot and Cuddlepie are getting ready for a sleepover, when Mrs Kookaburra hears of the plans and thinks it would be a great idea for her six little chicks to go as well...but where are they all going to fit? The more the merrier...?

The Australian bush has been beautifully captured in this new series of books. Keep an eye out for the next book in the series, soon to be published, A Snugglepot and Cuddlepie Christmas. Perfect Christmas gifts for young ones, here and abroad.
